Join us for a historical walking tour of Niagara-on-the-Lake, led by knowledgeable Museum historians.Tours run daily at 11 a.m. from June through August, with an additional 3 p.m. tour on weekends. In September, tours run on weekends at 11 a.m.

Step into the past as we explore Niagara-on-the-Lake, one of Canada’s most historically rich communities. From its roots in the late 18th century to the present day, the town’s history includes Indigenous history, Black history, early settler life, the War of 1812, military training camps, and the development of Canada’s wine industry.

Walk through streets lined with 19th-century architecture and visit important landmarks, including the cenotaph, historic churches, and the Niagara District Courthouse. Along the way, discover the people, places, and events that have shaped Niagara-on-the-Lake.
